Pilot-controlled servo valve

A description is given of a pilot-controlled servo valve with one main-flow connection (50) at the end and three lateral main-flow connections (51, 52, 53) for space-saving installation in a control block. The main control piston (6) has four control edges (28', 29', 30', 31'). A return spring (24) exerts a spring force on the main control piston (6) in the direction of a first axial end stop and thus clearly defines a safety end position. In this safety end position, at least one auxiliary control edge (32', 33') of the main control piston (6) closes one of the four axial hydraulic connections (28, 29, 30, 31) between the four main-flow connections (50, 51, 52, 53) of the valve and between the third main-flow connection (53) and the auxiliary connection chamber (22). <IMAGE>
