The improvements consist in giving the growing bag 5, 6, 7 one or more pleats which reduce its height, in order to halt and control the growth and development of the roots so that these are distributed and occupy the greatest surface area possible of the inside of the growing bag, in order to improve oxygenation, nutrition and evacuation of excess irrigation water. In addition, the common reservoir 8 which receives the excess nutrient solution is given a heat exchanger 9 connected to a double refrigeration 10 and heating 11 installation in order thus to adapt the irrigation temperature to the optimum growing requirements. The growing bag can also halt the uncontrolled development of the roots, as it is formed by a number of perforated tubes 13, 14 inside one another, the outside one being closed in order to convey the excess irrigation water. <IMAGE> |
