摘要 The invention relates to a battery module (10) having a plurality of electrochemical units (11, 12, 13, 14) which are connected to one another and of which at least two electrochemical units (11, 12) are connected to one another in series, said two electrochemical units in turn being connected in parallel with the same number of electrochemical units (13, 14) which are connected in series. The electrochemical units which are connected to one another in series form a first section (21) and a second section (22). The first section (21) and the second section (22) can be electrically connected to one another between the respectively at least two electrochemical units (11, 12 and 13, 14), which are connected to one another in series, via an intermediate path (16), wherein a possible internal short circuit can be diagnosed by means of the intermediate path (16). The present invention further relates to a method for determining deposition of metallic lithium on an anode of at least one electrochemical unit of a lithium-ion battery module (10) according to the invention.
