PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector around a molten iron or slug drop opening of a blast furnace, capable of increasing a dust collecting suction air volume to efficiently collect red smoke dust.SOLUTION: A dust collector around a molten iron or slug drop opening of a blast furnace includes a dust collecting hood 21 surrounding a first drop opening A1 from a molten iron gutter 10 to a concentrated gutter 12, a second drop opening A2 from one side 12a of the spout of the concentrated gutter 12 to a torpedo car 13 and a third drop opening A3 from the other side 12b of the spout of the concentrated gutter 12 to the torpedo car 13. A dust collecting suction duct 22 includes a suction port 29 having an ejector 30. The suction port 29 has a first suction port 29a1 provided at a position facing a side surface in the flow direction of the second drop opening A2 in a plan view and a second suction port 29a2 provided at a position facing a side surface in the flow direction of the third drop opening A3 in a plan view on the side wall surface 21A1 of the dust collecting hood 21 facing the front surface in the flow direction of the first drop opening A1 in a plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
