The present invention relates to a positive active material for a lithium secondary battery, a method for manufacturing the positive active material, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the positive active material. Provided is the positive active material for a lithium secondary battery, the positive active material comprising: a first positive active material which includes a compound adapted to enable reversible intercalation and deintercalation of lithium and a coating layer disposed on at least part of a surface of the compound, wherein the coating layer includes Li_3PO_4 or LiF, the coating layer is a composite coating layer further including a lithium metal oxide, a metal oxide, or a combination thereof, at least any one of the lithium metal oxide and the metal oxide independently includes metal M, and metal M includes at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ti, Al, Si, Sn, and Zr; and a second positive active material which includes a compound adapted to enable reversible intercalation and deintercalation of lithium and a coating layer disposed on at least part of a surface of this compound, wherein this coating layer includes Li_3PO_4 or LiF, this coating layer is a composite coating layer further including a lithium metal oxide, a metal oxide, or a combination thereof, at least any one of this lithium metal oxide and this metal oxide independently includes metal M, metal M includes at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ti, Al, Si, Sn, and Zr, and metal M is different from metal M in the first positive active material. |
