Disclosed is a bone age measuring apparatus. The bone age measuring apparatus comprises: an image input unit to receive a bone image; a wrist bone extraction unit to extract an area of a wrist bone in the inputted image; a wrist bone occupancy ratio calculation unit to measure an occupancy ratio of the wrist bone from the extracted area; and a bone age estimating unit to estimate a bone age by comparing with reference data based on the measured occupancy ratio.
