PURPOSE: To identify a plurality of induction machine parameters by impressing voltages of different frequencies on the stator of a motor in a plurality of times, generating a current in accordance with the voltage, obtaining the tangent of the angle ϕ between the voltage and current, and determining remaining parameters in accordance with the frequency and tangent. CONSTITUTION: For determining parameters in N pieces of an equivalent circuit, a voltage having a fundamental frequency ω1 4 as not causing a motor 5 to produce a torque is supplied from an inverter 3. The stator current 6 of the motor 5 is sampled at the periods T using an A/D converter 7. The converted stator current is sent to circuit blocks 8, 9, and the outputs Ycos and Ysin are calculated. This is followed by ion by a subtracting circuit 16 so that tanϕ 17 for the frequency ω is obtained. This procedure is made (n) times in n- sampling time, and (n) couples of tanϕ 17 values for a series of fundamental frequencies ω in (n) pieces are obtained. The rotor time constant τ2 , inductance LR, and resistance R2 are identified from the measured total leak inductance Lσ, frequency, and value of tanϕ. |
