PURPOSE:To eliminate difficulties in generating the patterns of a color filter, an LCD, etc., by specifying the display pixel constitution of a single-plate type color filter and electrically reducing the luminance of each pixel to half. CONSTITUTION:Luminance per block 14 of display pixels of a G filter is larger than the luminance of display pixels of R and B filters for chrominance signals, so a level converter 7 reduces the luminance of each display pixel of the G filter to half so as to correct color disorder. A G signal which is reduced in level is supplied to a G sampler 10G and sampled with the clock of a clock generator 8. The sampling frequency for G is double as high as a sampling frequency for R and B and samplers 10R, 10G, and 10B for R, G, and B output an R, a G, and a B signal in proportion of R:G:B=1:2:1. Then LPFs 11R and 11B are interposed for aliasing reduction are interposed and the R and B signals are supplied to a display driving circuit 12 together with the G signal; and a solid-state display 18 makes a color display of the video signal. |
