<p>PURPOSE:To enable tracing the cause of a defect generation by providing switching elements performing a connection /interruption of the input from a signal line to detecting units as necessary and performing a detecting operation correctly only at a specified bit. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal line driving circuit 8 is constituted of shift registers 81 having numbers of bits corresponding numbers of pixel columns and sample-hold circuits 82 connected to shift registers 81 of respective bits. A detecting circuit 9 is consisting of three terminals. a first and a second terminals are connected to a picture line 4 and an output line 10 respectively and a third terminal is connected to the output 11 of the shift register 81. When the output 11 of the shift register 81 goes to 'H', a picture signal goes to 'ON' by being synchronized with the output 11 and a signal being applied at the picture signal line 4 is transferred to the output line 10. That is, the output from the inspecting signal output line 10 detects the picture output of the bit to output only when the shift register 81 for the specified bit is 'H'.</p> |
