<p>PURPOSE:To improve the power-saving characteristic and the reliability of a multi-optical axis photoelectric switch in a program control system by arbitrarily and easily selecting only required projecting means and light-receiving means from the plural projecting means and light-receiving means. CONSTITUTION:The multi-optical axis photoelectric switch consists of a control part 1 provided with CPU11, RAM12, program ROM13 and data ROM14, four LEDs 21-24, the four light-receiving means 2 receiving projected light from specified LED which is previously decided, PD31-34, for example, an optical fiber 41, an amplifier 42, an A/D converter 43, the switches 44-47 and an external output terminal 48. The change-over state of the respective switches is detected after driving and only LED and PD, which correspond to the switch means changed over to a selection state, are sensing-operated.</p> |
