PURPOSE:To provide the pitch bender device in simple structure which has good performance for an electronic musical instrument. CONSTITUTION:Normal PCM waveform data to which pitch bend effect is not added are read out of, for example, an area N among areas for a timbre A in a waveform memory unless a pitch bend switch is operated at the time of a musical performance, thereby generating musical tone waveform data. When the pitch bend switch is operated for a pitch increase or decrease, PCM waveform data which increase or decrease in pitch with time are read out of, for example, an area U or D among the areas for the timbre A in the waveform memory, and musical tone waveform data are generated. |
