PURPOSE:To obtain a method of manufacturing a panel button and the panel button having a press button by integrally laminating a plastic panel in the reverse side of a plastic sheet material simultaneously with molding the plastic sheet material by an injection molding method. CONSTITUTION:An injection molding metal mold, comprising a movable side mold plate 1 having a cavity 2 of providing button molding recessed parts 3 in the bottom surface, core mold plate 5 of providing protruding parts 9 in the lower surface about gates 8, etc., is used, and a plastic sheet material 13, interposed between the movable side mold plate 1 and the core mold plate 5, is inserted to the cavity 2. The plastic sheet material 13 is partly press fitted into the button molding recessed parts 3 by the protruding parts 9, to mold a press button, simultaneously with injecting synthetic resin to a reverse surface of the plastic sheet material 13, to manufacture a plastic panel integrally laminated. |
