The ski boot safety binding has an extended adjustment rail (2). It consists of a provisional (2b) and a permanent (2a) section. They are connected to each other by a breakable joint. While mounting the permanent adjustment rail (2a) onto the ski (1), the binding body (8) is slid onto the provisional section (2b), and once the adjustment rail is fixed, the -is broken off. The extended rail can be designed for re-use, e.g. with a dovetail joint. USE/ADVANTAGE - Ski boot safety binding. Extended adjustment rail allows simplified and precise mounting.
