PURPOSE:To execute an operation test including the debugging and I/O of a software at high speed before completing a product hardware by connecting a target CPU and an I/O simulation CPU while using an I/O allocation circuit and a memory for I/O simulation. CONSTITUTION:A program 122 for simulating I/O is operated on an I/O simulation CPU 106 while operating a program 121 to be tested on a target CPU 101, and the CPU 101 and 106 are connected through an I/O allocation circuit 105 and a memory 104 for I/O simulation. Therefore, the program 121 is executed at high speed on the CPU 101, and the simulating operation of I/O is performed at high speed on the CPU 106 as well. When the exchange of data from the CPU 101 to I/O is generated, the CPU 101 can process it just as really exchanging data with I/O, and the operation test including the debugging and I/O of the software can be performed at high speed in comparison with the software testing device composed of programs. |
