<p>A method for the distillative separation of a hydrocarbon feed stream, such as a carbon dioxide-containing feed stream, in a single distillation column into a vapor carbon dioxide product stream and a side column product stream, such as a liquid propane stream, employing a recycled C4+ bottom additive stream. The method comprises introducing a feed stream into a single cryogenic distillation column; withdrawing a C4+ stream into the single column above the feed point of the feed stream, and withdrawing from a side point in the column above the introduction of the feed stream a vapor product stream enriched in C3+, and cooling the vapor stream to produce a C3 liquid product stream.</p> |
