An electrical connecting box for connecting cable strands, the configuration of an inner circuit and the production process being simplified. The electrical connecting box is provided with: an upper cover having a plurality of cavities for accommodating electrical components such as fuses and relays; a bottom cover which is mounted on the upper cover, the bottom cover having housing parts in which connections which are located at ends of cables forming a cable strand are accommodated, the bottom covers having a plurality of partial cable strand bottom covers which are provided for a plurality of partial cable strands in which the destination of the individual cables and the respective load system differ; and electrical circuits which are arranged between the upper cover and the bottom cover, the connecting terminals at the ends of the cables and the electrical components being connected to the electrical circuits, and the plurality of cavities and electrical circuits being arranged in such a manner that they form blocks with respect to the partial cable strand bottom covers.
