<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently treat organic waste water by a method wherein the concentration of microorganisms in a reactor is kept high by a device having a simple structure and easy to maintain and control. CONSTITUTION:In a gas recovering part at the upper part of a reaction tank 2, by circulating generated gas forcibly by a blower 6, the gases, scums and bubbles wreathing granules 3 are efficiently separated from the granules 3 by the gas velocity, without causing a mechanical breakdown of the granules 3 formed, whereby the granules 3 are allowed to precipitate to keep high the concentration of microorganisms in the reaction tank 2.</p> |
