PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of diagnosis by two-stage display. CONSTITUTION:The electrocardiogram data from the electrode 1 applied to a patient is operated by a CPU 4 and the electrocardiogram data or the operation result is stored in an RAM 6 and displayed on a liquid crystal display part 8 as a numerical value or a graph. The event switch 10 pushed by a patient realizing a fit and a selection key 9 are provided. The CPU 4 calculates heart rate on the basis of the electrocardiogram to detect arrhythmia such as extrasystole and, further, the data of the electrocardiogram, heart rate and arrhythmia up to the time going back by a specific time from the point of time when the event switch 10 is pushed are updated along with time data to be stored in the RAM 6 according to a memory loop system and the above- mentioned respective data within the specific time from the point of time when the event switch is pushed are stored in the RAM 6 along with time data and, further, on the basis of the data stored in the RAM 6, the graph of either one of the heart rate and the arrhythmia selected by the selection key 9 is displayed on the liquid crystal display part 8 along with the waveform of the electrocardiogram corresponding to the time. |
