PURPOSE:To provide an air bag housing cover capable of easily and smoothly unfolding a lid body when an air bag is expanded, of smoothly and rapidly expanding an air bag in a direction as designed, and of facilitating forming. CONSTITUTION:In an air bag housing cover having an air bag housing cover main body 2 and its lid body composed of inner and outer layers 4 and 3 formed integrally with the main body 2 and having a weak part cleaved when an air bag is expanded, a bent part 4a protruded in a lid body surface direction wherein the unfolding of the lid body is facilitated and having thickness actually uniform with that of an adjoining part is formed on the inner layer of a link part to the cover main body 2 adopted as a hinged part when the lid body is unfolded, and a corresponding outer layer is formed while it is made thinner by the protruded quantity of the inner layer. |
