The invention relates to a system for in-flight refuelling of at least a first aeroplane (11, 9), equipped with an intermediate fuel-intake means (17, 14) linked with at least one tank, by a second aeroplane (10), equipped with an intermediate fuel-feed means (12, 15) linked with at least one tank, able to be connected to the intermediate fuel-intake means in order, with the aid of at least one fuel pump, to allow the transfer of fuel contained in the tank or tanks of the second aeroplane to the tank or tanks of the first aeroplane. This system comprises at least one camera arranged under the aeroplane, at least one multi-mode visual display screen (20; 50, 51) making it possible, at the same time, to view at least one image originating from a camera and/or at least one piece of symbology, which is a diagrammatic representation of the operation of certain devices of the second aeroplane which are used during the refuelling operation, at least one multi-function item of equipment (45; 52, 53), comprising a screen (46) and a control keyboard (47), making it possible to carry out several operations, in such a way as to make it possible, in a single workstation, to install within the second aeroplane all the instruments necessary for the operator to control the in-flight refuelling of the first aeroplane or aeroplanes. <IMAGE>
