Device for site protection (grounds protection)

A device is specified for site protection, which consists of a microwave barrier and an intelligent evaluation device. The evaluation device contains an evaluation processor which classifies, by means of a neuronal network, signals of the microwave barrier which initially trigger an alarm as being tolerable from then on when it is fed from outside with a "harmless" signal. The latter may be the result of an investigation of the event which in each case triggered the alarm, using an automatically triggered video recording. When the device is used in particular in conjunction with a fence, a reduction in the number of false alarms (spurious alarms) by about 90% is achieved by training the evaluation processor in this way. <IMAGE>
