The invention relates to a table frame with C-shaped supporting frames. Each supporting frame comprises a foot element (12) and a support element (13), arranged thereabove, for supporting a table top or the like, foot element (12) and support element (13) being interconnected by an approximately vertical column element (1). The column element (1) is produced from extruded profile (sectional) material and incorporates guide channels (4) for receiving connecting rods, and/or an inner chamber (7) accessible from outside, for the purpose of gaining access to clamping devices and for inserting cables, the inner chamber (7) being closable by a cover (2). <IMAGE>
