In order to reduce the final speed of the capture fork and increase the overall speed, in particular for waterski cableways, a predominantly horizontal push/pull cylinder is provided so that the necessary curved vertical control of the capture fork by a transverse link does not influence the pivoting speed, and thus the rotational speed is slowed down instead of multiplied by five. The overall speed can be further reduced by means of a second, predominantly horizontal lifting cylinder, in particular also by virtue of the fact that the lifting cylinder contains a rapid venting device.
