<p>A tappet for slide valves, in particular for pneumatic multi-way valves, is generally made of steel and has a basic cylindrical shape with control segments located on the basic cylindrical shape and with smaller-diameter intermediate segments, whereby control edges are formed at the transitions between the segments. To be able to manufacture a lightweight tappet using more economical methods, the tappet body is made of plastic and is hollow all the way through, the outer control segments and the smaller-diameter segments between the outer control segments have wall thicknesses which are equal for each type of segment, and the plastic comprise polyoxymethylene or polyamide with a proportion of fillers.</p> |
