<p>PURPOSE:To prevent contamination of a fixing roller with a non-fixed toner over a jam sheet when the paper sheet is pulled off. CONSTITUTION:The upper part 10a of a device body 10 is brought into an openable state. A regulation roller 35 is supported by a casing (h) for the upper part 10a, in an ordinary state that the upper part 10a is closed, the device body is brought into a waiting position and in a rotation state that the upper part is closed, it is brought into a nipping position. Press against a sheet discharge roller 25 instead of a leaf spring member 29 is effected. A one-way clutch is arranged to the regulation roller 35 and in the nipping position, rotation in a sheet discharge direction of the sheet discharge roller 25 is impeded. This constitution causes nipping of a jam sheet S between the sheet discharge roller 25 and the regulation roller when the upper part 10a is opened during processing of a jam and impedance of pull-off of the jam sheet S in the downstream direction of a sheet conveyance direction and meanwhile causes pull-off of the jam sheet in an up stream direction.</p> |
