<p>PURPOSE:To maintain drive torque, exerted on a motor, at a constant value by setting a push up force responding to the amount of paper sheets when a bottom plate on which paper sheets are placed in a paper feeding cassette is raised by using a push-up device. CONSTITUTION:In a push-up device 10 arranged to push up the bottom plate of a paper feeding cassette, two push-up arm members 12 and 13 are arranged on a drive shaft 11. Grooves 16 and 16a with which drive pins 17 and 17a arranged on the drive shaft 11 are engaged are formed in the push-up arm members. In the middle of oscillation of the push-up arm, the working push-up arm member is switched. In a state that an amount of paper sheets on the bottom plate is high, the bottom plate is oscillated by using the push-up arm member 12 and a state that the amount of paper sheets is low, the bottom plate is oscillated by using the long push-up arm member 13.</p> |
