PURPOSE:To obtain a peptide, having the antimicrobial activity against Gram- positive and Gram-negative bacteria and useful as an antimicrobial agent for humans and animals. CONSTITUTION:The peptide has any of amino acid sequences expressed by the formulas H-Lys-Ile-Glu-Lys-Met-Gly-OH, H-Arg-Asn-Ile-Arg-Asp-Gly-OH, H-Ile-Val-Lys-Ala-Gly-OH and H-Pro-Ala-Ile-Glu-Val-Leu-Gly-OH. |
