PURPOSE:To provide an article conveying apparatus, which can promote the saving of electric power in stations and can achieve the decrease in a capacitance of a capacitor part and the reduction in charging frequency. CONSTITUTION:A conveying vehicle A, which conveys an article and runs between a plurality of stations S, are provided. A motor device E, which moves the article between the conveying vehicle A and the station, a control device 13, which controls the operation of the motor device D, and a capacitor part 14 for driving the control device 13, are provided. A switch E, which can be freely opened and closed, for controlling the current conduction to the control device 13 from the capacitor part 14, is provided in the station S. A switch operating means F, which closes the switch E when the moving of the article between the stations S is started and opens the switch E when the movement of the article is finished, is provided in the conveying vehicle A. |
