<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to correct firmware built in a mass-produced custom LSI and to share an EEPROM for storing correction information with plural electronic devices. CONSTITUTION:The correction information of a ROM 3A built in an electronic device A which is stored in an EEPROM 13 is stored in a RAM 4A and a patch controlling register 14A based upon IPL stored in the ROM 3A. Similarly the correction information of a ROM 3B built in an electronic device B which is stored in the EEPROM 13 is transferred from the device A to the device B through a communication circuit 15 and communication lines 22B, 21B and stored in a RAM 4B and a patch controlling register 14B. Consequently the correction contents stored in the RAMs 4A, 4B are executed instead of correction parts stored in the ROMs 3A, 3B.</p> |
