PURPOSE: To provide an improved fine-adjustment device for finishing a hole, wherein a displacement device is mounted in a body to work on a tool holder displaceable in the same direction as the radial component of working force. CONSTITUTION: A displacement device is provided with a backlash control system and a motion transmission mechanism. The motion transmission mechanism has a scaling drum 104 coaxially mounted on a jogging screw 105. The jogging screw is supported in the axial and radial directions about the body of the fine-adjustment device 100 by a supporting system. On a threaded upper- side extension portion 105b of the jogging screw, a cylindrical rod 120 is mounted which contains, at its upper end, an inclined portion 123 or an extension portion kept at a certain angle in reference to the vertical axis of the jogging screw. The inclined extension portion is placed in a hole of a cross beam 103 to be displaced onto a guide passage and a ball, resulting in a tool holder to be displaced to the radial direction. |
