PURPOSE:To suppress the gneration of noise to make the increment of a recording capacity possible by inclining the recording face direction in a spiral recording track at a fixed angle for the cut line direction of the recording track. CONSTITUTION:Parts B1, B2, B3... of recording track B are continuously formed on the magnetic layer on one face of a magnetic sheet so that these parts may converge near center O2. This track B is so formed that recording direction 10 may be inclined at an angle of 45 deg. for tangent lines of track B, for example, l1 and l2. Head 11 is fitted to holder 12, and head gap 13 is made opposite to track B and moves spirally to scan track B. At this time, head 11 is so arranged that the direction of gap 13 may always agree with direction 10. As a result, recording tracks can be provided adjacently and closely, and the space of the magnetic sheet can be utilized effectively. |
