Pot-filling mechanism for low-viscosity to pasty dairy and fat products

In a pot filler for foodstuffs and semi-luxuries, especially for low-viscosity to pasty dairy and fat products or the like, the conveying chain has driving chains. Every two drivers adjacent to one another form between them a pot receptacle grasping a first pot side. The second pot side is held on a rectilinear lateral guide extending in the conveying direction. The pot bottom is supported on a rectilinear bottom guide extending in the conveying direction. A pot-feed station preceding the driving chain has a feed-conveyor means, which feeds the pots in web form and supports them at the bottom and which is arranged laterally next to the space of movement of the driving chain, and an intermediate conveyor means connected to the feed-conveyor means. The intermediate conveyor means transfers each pot into a pot receptacle by means of a transverse movement.
