RAPID COLOR SHADING PROCESS

A process for shading paint to match the color of a standard color paint whi ch process involves the use of transparent film to optic ally simulate the effect of reading color through the conventional clearcoat laye r, which eliminates the steps of cooling, spraying, flas hing and baking the clearcoat with each iteration of test panels, with resultant sign ificant decrease in process time.
