This container comprises an outer body (2), an inner body (3) comprising a skirt (15) fitting around the upper end of the outer body (2), a heat-insulating product (31) disposed in the annular chamber (14), a collar (4) composed of a neck and a skirt (20) fitting on that (15) of the inner body (3) and, on the edges of the said skirts (15-20), circular ribs (17-18-22) and grooves (19-23) cooperating with each other and with a circular groove (12) surrounding the outer body in order to ensure, in combination with a peripheral weld (32), the fluid-tightness of the contents of the container with respect to the exterior and the fluid-tightness with respect to the interior and to the exterior respectively of the container, of the chamber (14) containing the heat-insulating fluid. Its manufacturing method essentially consists in inserting the inner body (3) into the outer body (2) using the bottom (10) of this inner body as a piston, expelling the heat-insulating fluid and distributing it in the annular chamber (14) and, after the interlocking of the ribs and grooves (12-13, 17 to 19 and 20 to 23), in ensuring, by peripheral welding, the connection of the skirt (20) of the collar (4) with the flange (16) of the inner body (3) and with the external lip (13) of the outer body (2). <IMAGE>
