The invention relates to an arrangement for protection of tubes of a tube bundle in a dust-laden gas flow, in particular of cooled tubes of a downstream heating surface in the smoke gas flue of a steam boiler. The aim of the invention is to provide, by means of a new constructional solution, a more comprehensive protection with lower expenditure. This is achieved in that, according to the invention, the tube which is not subject to flow is provided with a bend facing the gas flow, the end of the bend is fixed to a fixed point of a plant part, e.g. a support rod, and the tube which is not subject to flow is fixed directly in front of the bend at a fastening point of the tube, while the other part of the tube which is not subject to flow is held via freely movable guide points on the tube. <IMAGE>
