PURPOSE:To obtain a treating agent containing a phosphoric acid amide based compound and/or aged amide phosphazene based compound and metal salt thereof and capable of improving fastness of a cellulose cloth to sweet and sun and shrinkage resistance and further providing deodorizing effect to the cloth by treating the cloth therewith. CONSTITUTION:A cellulose cloth is subjected to dipping treatment in an aqueous solution of treating agent containing phosphoric acid amide based compound such as phosphoric acid triamide, phosphoric acid triamide condensation product and/or amide phosphorzene compound, preferably aged amide phosphorzene compound obtained by aging an amide phosphorzene compound in an aqueous solution containing ammonium ion and metal salt (preferred example: metal salt of the group IIA, IIB, IIIA or VII) and then dried and heat-treated to provide a cellulose based cloth improved in fastness of the cloth to sweet and sun, remarkably reduced in progressive shrinkage by washing, having excellent water resistance and washability and capable of maintaining deodorizing effect. |
