PURPOSE:To obtain a high performance catalyst for production of >=12C heavy aliphatic hydrocarbon from hydrogen and carbon monoxide at a high rate of formation with high selectivity at a reaction pressure of <=100atm. CONSTITUTION:This catalyst contains 0.1-10wt.% ruthenium and vanadium in 0.1-2.0 atomic ratio to ruthenium and titanium oxide. When this catalyst is used, heavy hydrocarbon can be produced under <=100atm. pressure at a rate >=3 times as high as that attained with the conventional catalyst. |
