<p>PURPOSE:To house a seismoscope which enables the cutting of a city gas being supplied when an earth quake occurs into a gas meter, a gas emergency breaker and a gas consuming device by miniaturizing it without variations in characteristic. CONSTITUTION:Sensors S1-S3 are fixed respectively on three orthogonal mounting surfaces 11, 12 and 13 of a cubic block bodies 10. The sensors S1-S3 have electrodes arranged at an interval on both sides of pendulums each comprising a conductive monocrystalline silicon. The pendulums of the sensors S1-S3 are connected in common and the electrodes corresponding to the respective sensors are connected in common to detect capacity between the pendulums and the electrodes. Then, a level discrimination is performed through a lowpass filter for filtering an seismic wave alone. This achieves a prevention of variations in the characteristic of each product, a miniaturization of a construction and higher sensitivity and eliminates restriction of mounting attitude thereby enabling selective detection of all vibrations such as earth quakes in a three-dimensional direction.</p> |
