PURPOSE:To attain more preferable color reproduction by selecting a stored color desired most emphasized in color reproduction among stored colors included in an original picture and correcting the color according to the selected stored color. CONSTITUTION:A color image forming device 1 receives original picture color separation data comprising red(R), green(G) and blue(B) colors from a color original read section 2. Then a selection key 4b of an operation panel selects a stored color desired for best color reproduction from 'skin color', 'green color', 'sky color' and 'red color' of the stored colors included in an original picture. Then a color picture processing section 4 makes color correction according to the selected stored color and a color picture recording section 5 generates a color picture comprising cyan(C), magenta(M) and yellow(Y). |
