PURPOSE:To properly and efficiently diagnose the fault which occurs in a management object apparatus or the like in a network. CONSTITUTION:Diagnostic information to which diagnosis numbers, diagnosis priority levels, and management device identification numbers of diagnotis request sources are added are generated in a diagnosis information generating part 2 with respect to fault information from apparatus and satellite management devices which are gathered by a fault information gathering part 1 in a management device 10 and are sent to a diagnostics device 20. Diagnotis information received by a diagnotis information gathering part 3 in the diagnotis device 20 are recorded in a diagnosis request acceptance table 4 with respect to each diagnosis priority level by a diagnosis request recording part 5. A diagnosis execution instructing part 6 refers to the diagnosis request acceptance table 4 to instruct the start of diagnosis to a diagnostic part 7 in accordance with the precedence of diagnosis. A diagnosis result transmission part 8 adds a diagnosis number to the diagnosis result of the diagnostic part 7 and sends the diagnosis result to the pertinent management device indicated by the management device identification number. |
