<p>PURPOSE:To provide a pointer small in size, light in weight and simple in operability and capable of pointing a desired position on a display screen by a user from an arbitrary position with respect to an optical pointing system by which the user tries to point a specific position on a screen or a large screen CRT in an electronic presentation.system and an electronic conference system for plural audiences. CONSTITUTION:A pointer 51 has a condensing optical system 51g which condenses light beams from a single or plural light emitting elements 57 located on a display screen 52 or in its vicinity to a photoelectric converter 51f.
