PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight, especially, thickness of a brushless motor while various characteristics of the motor are secured by constituting the cylinder section and cylinder supporting section of a bracket of separate members and fixing the cylinder supporting member between the cylinder section and a stator. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder supporting section 19, an annular wall 22, a pan- shaped bottom section and side wall 33, and a flange 15 fitted to a base section 5 are integrally formed. The annular wall 22 is put and fixed in a small- diameter section 23 after it is positioned in the height direction of the title motor behind a cylinder 18 section. The core 32 of a stator 32 is put on the annular wall 22 and fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the wall 22 with a bonding agent after the core 32 is positioned in the height direction of the motor. Therefore, the wall 22 is fixed between the stator 3 and cylinder section 18. As a result, the height (y) and, accordingly, the thickness of the motor can be reduced, because the effective part (x) required for fixing the cylinder supporting section 19 with a required strength can be secured by the joined parts of the section 18 and stator 3 and, at the same time, the section 19 overlaps the stator 3. |
