PURPOSE:To safely perform the charging work to electric vehicle. CONSTITUTION:In a charger-side connector 2 having a lever 13 to perform the fitting and charge to a vehicle-side connector 1 with the lever 13 in the hand, a switch is arranged on the lever 13. The switch 22 prohibits the current carrying to a charging electric circuit when the lever 13 is held by the hand and operated, and permits the current carrying only when the hand is released.
