PURPOSE:To make possible the miniaturization of a mobile station and the reduction of cost by calculating the data transmission timing of an own station during a calling and automatically switching and controlling from a voice channel to a data channel before a data transmission. CONSTITUTION:The transmitter-receiver of a mobile station 5 is defined as a transmitter-receiver 7 where two channels which can be used for the both of a data collection and a voice calling are possible to be switched, a means calculating the data transmission timing of an own station during a voice calling and performing an automatic switching to a data channel is provided and the automatic switching to a data transmission is made possible. The mobile station 5 in a voice calling state stores the polling period T from a base station 1, transmits data by automatically switching from a channel for voice calling to a channel for data if the slot time of the transmission of the own station comes during the calling, and returns to the channel for voice calling after the transmission is terminated. Therefore, the mobile station 5 is not required to be two transmitter-receiver 7 for data and for voice calling, and cost reduction becomes possible in a communication system where many mobile stations exist. |
