PURPOSE:To prevent heating accident due to erroneous recognition of a foreign matter as an appliance body by providing a switching element allowing the output control of a primary oscillating section on the power supply body side and switching the switching element by means of an operating piece on the appliance body side thereby detecting the loading state of an appliance body to be fed with power to the power supply body accurately. CONSTITUTION:Under a state where an appliance body 24 is removed from a power supply body 16, such state as the output from a primary oscillating section 14 is interrupted or suppressed sufficiently is sustained by a switching element 90. When the appliance body 24 is loaded properly to the power supply body 16, an operating piece 96 is fitted in an operating hole 94 upon matching of contact faces 34, 35 and thereby the switching element 90 is switched. Consequently, control is made to increase the output from the primary oscillating section 14 and power is fed to a load 20 through a primary coil 50 and an output coil 74. This constitution allows positive detection of loading of the appliance body to the power supply body.
