In an apparatus for mixing, liquefying, refining and aromatising, in particular chocolate mass, the dry mass fed to a trough 1 via a closable charging opening is treated until it liquefies, aerated and then discharged from the trough 1, in which at least two rotors 4, 5 are mounted rotatably in in each case one trough compartment 2, 3. The rotors 4, 5 exhibit mutually facing outer sides and are provided with pasting tools 6, 7 which interact with pasting surfaces 8, 9 of the trough compartments 2, 3.
