<p>A wind or draught driven hazard or direction indicator includes two or more reflective or florescent blades (B) mounted on and rotatable about the axis of a post (D Fig 3). Speed governing is provided by winglets (A) on the blades providing lift which brings the braking system (E Fig 3) into operation. The post at its base would include an appropriate method of fixing the device to its intended sited position, eg. on a traffic cone. The braking system may be centrifugally operated. <IMAGE></p> |
