PURPOSE:To form a clear image having good heat resistance and light fastness stably at a high speed with little bleeding by forming an image receiving layer, which makes a sublimation type transfer image, while placing a heat softening resin layer containing a UV absorbing resin on a support. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal dispersion type transfer method (sublimation type transfer method) in which only a thermal dispersion type coloring matter is transferred on a sheet to be transcribed using a transfer sheet which has an ink layer containing the thermal dispersion type coloring matter (for example, subliming coloring matter) on a support, an image receiving layer is formed by placing a heat softening resin layer containing a UV absorbing resin on the support. The image receiving layer is incorporated with a release agent. The UV absorbing resin is a polymer type UV absorbing agent which has the maximum absorption wavelength in an ultraviolet region and has no absorption in a visible region. The heat softening resin of the image receiving layer has Tg of -20-150 deg.C, preferably 40-120 deg.C. |
