PURPOSE:To surely hold a workpiece without giving a scratch to an external peripheral surface by forming a carrier by fiber reinforced plastic, and arranging a fiber having flexibility of polyester fiber or the like in at least an intermediate layer part. CONSTITUTION:In external layer parts 13, 13 of a carrier, since a chance of coming into contact with the periphery of a chamfered workpiece 12 is rarely provided, an arbitrary material provided with a reinforcing function is used as a reinforcing fiber, and, for instance, a material, hard and easily broken like a glass fiber may be used. In an intermediate layer part 14 relating to the above, because of contact with the periphery of the workpiece 12, a reinforcing fiber having flexibility for preventing a scratch from easily given to the workpiece 12 is used, and a polyester fiber is listed, as the fiber thus formed, and used to be suited for holding an aluminum-made disk. |
