PURPOSE: To connect a first and a second cylindrical member in a torsional position by forming a space for accepting the cylindrical members having different diameters by end members and a central member. CONSTITUTION: Rods 10, 12 are arranged in parallel planes respectively, and a first end member 2 has a bore 8 formed therein and is so set as to accept a first cylindrical member, namely a rod 10 by a sliding fitting. Bores 28, 30 in a central member 6 and bores 34, 36 in a second end member 2 have screws 40, 42 fitted thereto respectively. The members 4, 6 are held by their curved faces 32, 38 by fastening or loosening the screws 40, 42 so as to be adapted to rods 12 with various diameters. A screw 44 is inserted in the bore 14 formed in the first end member 2. When the first end member 2 is displaced by a relative torsion angle of the rods 10, 12, the screw 44 is fastened to the bore 14 bottom and serrated rims 16, 20 are engaged with each other so that the first end member is held at a prescribed angle. |
